A WORD ON CERTAIN PROCEDURES SPECIFIC TO QUAD 5 POKER:
1. While in the past players were permitted to re-enter the game up until the conclusion of the first hand of 25/50 blinds, this was changed in March 2023 to a hard cut-off at the BEGINNING of 25/50 blinds for re-entries. Once the clock for 25/50 blinds has started, no player can re-enter into the game.
2. Formerly, there was no limit on how high blinds could get in the latter stages of Quad 5 Poker tournaments. However in November 2023 this was changed to a hard cap of 3000/6000 blinds for all tournaments. Efforts will be made to keep blind levels reasonable in proportion to the amount of chips in the game during the late stages of the tournament. However, we reserve the right to institute higher blind levels or decrease blind time periods due to venue hours or some other circumstance.
3. Effective Sunday, November 5th, extra seats for Knockout Tournaments can only be given to players who have played at least ONE game in the current Knockout Period. The "Knockout Period" is the two-month period of qualification for the next coming Knockout Tournament. At the time of this writing, the current Knockout Period is November 1st to December 31st. Anyone who wins a game during this period will qualify for the Knockout Tournament in January. The next Knockout Period will be from January 1st to February 28th, with the next Knockout Tournament being in March. And so on.
